2. Website purpose and permitted use
The website helps visitors browse inventory, estimate possible payments, ask questions, prepare a sell or trade-in conversation, and request follow-up. UC Auto grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the site for personal vehicle-shopping purposes.
You must not:
- submit false, unlawful, infringing, abusive, malicious, or unauthorized content;
- probe, bypass, disrupt, scrape at unreasonable volume, or interfere with site security or operation;
- impersonate another person or submit their personal information without authority; or
- copy, sell, republish, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit site content except as law permits.
3. Vehicle inventory, descriptions, and pricing
Vehicle listings are invitations to inquire, not binding offers to sell. Inventory, availability, mileage, colour, trim, options, condition, history, photos, and prices can change or contain an error. Please confirm material details with UC Auto before relying on them or travelling to the showroom.
Additional fees and applicable taxes are extra. Doc Fee and Vehicle Preparation Fee amounts vary by vehicle; do not infer them from the vehicle’s brand or fuel type. Confirm the specific amounts, including the VSA Levy Recovery Fee, with UC Auto. Registration, licensing, and insurance costs may also apply where permitted. UC Auto will provide an itemized purchase document before a transaction is completed. Nothing in these terms permits an undisclosed charge or limits your rights under applicable consumer-protection or motor-dealer law.
No purchase is complete through this website alone. A transaction exists only after the required parties accept and sign the applicable bill of sale and other documents.
4. Payment calculator and finance-interest requests
Calculator results are planning estimates based on the values and assumptions shown. They are not quotes, offers, credit decisions, approvals, pre-approvals, or guarantees. Actual taxes, fees, rate, term, payment, down payment, trade value, lender conditions, and total borrowing cost may differ.
Submitting the simple finance-interest form asks UC Auto to contact you. It does not authorize a credit bureau inquiry and is not sent to a lender as a credit application. A later application will have separate terms, disclosures, identity checks, and consents.
5. Appointments, CARFAX, contact, and sell or trade-in requests
A website submission is a request for follow-up. An appointment is not confirmed until UC Auto confirms the date, time, vehicle, and any test-drive requirements. A CARFAX request does not promise immediate delivery or that a report is available for every vehicle.
Online sell or trade-in steps collect information to prepare a review. They are not an appraisal, guaranteed value, offer, or acceptance. Any value or transaction depends on physical inspection, ownership and lien verification, condition, history, market conditions, documents, and signed terms.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit and for having authority to provide it. Do not send sensitive identity, banking, or full credit-application details through a general form, ordinary email, or UCar chat.
6. Third-party services and links
The site may link to or use services provided by Google, CARFAX, NHTSA, social networks, hosting or database providers, AI providers, and—only in a later separately consented finance process—lenders. UC Auto does not control a third party’s website, availability, content, terms, privacy practices, or decision. A link is provided for convenience and is not a guarantee or endorsement of every third-party statement.
7. Intellectual property and feedback
The website, UC Auto branding, layout, text, software, and dealership-created media are owned by or licensed to UC Auto and protected by applicable law. Third-party marks remain their owners’ property. If you send feedback, you allow UC Auto to use it to improve the business and website without an obligation to compensate you, while personal information remains governed by the Privacy Policy.
8. Availability, disclaimers, and limits
UC Auto aims to keep the website useful and accurate but does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that every item is current. To the extent permitted by law, the website and planning tools are provided on an “as available” basis and UC Auto is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused solely by reliance on a website estimate, interruption, third-party service, or unconfirmed listing detail.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, remedies, warranties, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection or motor-dealer law.
9. Changes, suspension, and governing law
UC Auto may update, suspend, or discontinue website features and may revise these terms. The effective date identifies the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without preventing you from using any mandatory forum or remedy available under applicable law.
